Ok, so Thanksgiving was TONS of fun. We went back to WI and saw my family and spent some time in La Crosse as well. Jeff was unable to join us. We had to drop him off at the Air Port in St Paul for him to fly back to be with his dad. The Saturday before Thanksgiving he had a heart attack and ended up having by-pass surgery on 5 valves the following Monday. The timing worked out perfectly that Jeff was able to get right on a plane and be there with him. He is doing GREAT--not much can keep that man down for long.
In the mean time we had an early thanksgiving dinner on Sunday while everyone was still able to be there at mom and dad's and had Christmas dinner on Thursday. Got it all covered in one trip. Jordan brought him trap along and caught a couple wild cats, a squirrel and a opossum (twice), not a very smart opossum. He was going to kill all of his catches but me and the girls threw a big enough fit that dad finally told him maybe he should just let them go. Beside--no dead animals were going to ride back with me to WY.
For the second time ever (and never again) we got up at 3:30 and went to Wal-mart before leaving for La Crosse. It wasn't a total waste though--I saw two people I graduated from High school with which was way cool.
So Friday morning (after shopping :{ )we drove to La Crosse for the weekend and stayed with the Petree's and had a blast (of course). We got together at Famous Dave's (as usual) with some close friends and then went to church on Sunday. I realized how much I missed everyone and almost called and told Jeff I wasn't coming home.
So here are some fun pictures from our trip---enjoy!

Kenzie, Londyn and their cousin Sam (pees in a pod)
Me and my girls (the other one is taking the picture)
Thanksgiving dinner--I was on gravy duty
Brother Rob and sister Diane

A few Rhodes and Edstrom grandgirls and great grandgirl

And some more with grandma (she's going to LOVE that I put this one on here) hee hee
Sorry Jordan--you've grown but I don't think you'll ever pass them upRob, Diane, me, Ron, dad and mom
Dad's retirement hobby is restoring old tractors--if you had seen these before youwouldn't believe it. He is one talented man.

Jordan's opossum--he was one MAD critter but a little tired at this point

This squirrel tried to chew it's way out and it's mouth was all bloodyby the time Jordan (Brooklynn) freed him--poor thing.

Brooklynn (our future vet) to the rescue--Jordan was very sweet to let it go. He REALLY wanted to try squirrel stew--to bad no one was willing to make it for him!

Thanksgiving would not be complete without a puzzle
